John Henry Law John Henry Law Bellaire, TX Bellaire, TX Part-time Part-time $20 - $25 an hour $20 - $25 an hour Part-Time Scheduling Clerk Position Our firm provides comprehensive and compassionate representation in guardianship, probate, special needs trusts, elder law, and estate planning.
We are looking to add a part-time scheduling clerk to our team.
Duties will include coordinating appointments for clients and managing attorney.
In addition, this position requires personal maturity, a high degree of organization and time management.
Training on process and software is provided.
Tasks Will execute scheduling process as prescribed and trained in accordance with the firm policies Will communicate with client's via the client portal Will communicate with courts, opposing counsel, and vendors via phone and e-mail Provide attorneys with daily schedule and updates Will ensure that office is prepared and ready to accept clients Will provide back-up for intake pipeline scheduling Will ensure accuracy and promptness Will provide coverage for front office staff as needed Knowledge & Skills Excellent telephone and oral communication skills; empathy for client situation Stress tolerance with the ability to remain calm under pressure; must courteously and professionally assist clients, even if client is unpleasant.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Must have a sense of ownership of client interactions and workload Ability to plan and organize workload Accurate typing skills General problem-solving ability (i.
e.
be able to determine if an urgent problem exists, and if so, to determine the steps to correct it) Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Cloud Based Payment Systems, Cloud-based storage systems Education:
Associate's degree or higher Qualifications & Prior Experience Three years of legal experience and scheduling experience preferred Position Part-Time Partial-hybrid following probationary period Pay & Benefits Hourly, 20-25+/hr.
based upon experience Supplemental insurance benefits Performance based annual bonus Paid time-off Partial remote schedule following probationary period.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
