The ideal candidate will have experience in benefits administration, governmental accounting, accounts receivable, journal entries, general ledger accounting, tax, account reconciliation, technical accounting, and double-entry bookkeeping.
It is important that the Ideal candidate must be bilingual.
Responsibilities:
Process payroll for all employees- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations- Maintain accurate employee records- Administer employee benefits programs- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies- Prepare and file tax forms- Assist with accounts receivable and general ledger accounting- Perform account reconciliations- Prepare journal entries.
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred- 3
years of experience in payroll processing and administration- Knowledge of governmental accounting principles and practices- Experience with benefits administration and tax filing requirements- Strong technical accounting skills including account reconciliation and double-entry bookkeeping.
